Trucking responsibilities (Peterbilt) include working in a safe manner loading truck, tarping down load, local and statewide deliveries, and unloading (with Donkey forklift). No overnights… Must have Class A CDL, 2+ years of semi, Class A driving experience (or demonstrated proficiency). We do have winter shop hours available for someone who is very mechanically inclined.

In this role, there is a lot of job variety from farming to moving equipment to driving truck by performing all aspects of sod production as part of our experienced team. The position requires early hours and occasional weekends.

We are hiring a local delivery driver (straight truck, Class B CDL at minimum) in the morning and then mowing sod fields in the afternoon. This position will make local deliveries on occasion, mow sod fields, drive forklift, Candidates must:

have valid driver’s license

be able to work flexible hours if needed

The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, be able to drive a manual straight truck (or willing to learn), a mechanical aptitude, and have farm experience.

  • Assist customers with loading product into their vehicle/trailer via by forklift or by hand
  • Maintains accurate inventory of product in the yard
  • Mow, weed whip, and maintain yard area to keep tidy
  • Assist field crew by driving forklift and stacking sod if needed
  • Repairing pallets

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Must be able to start work between 5:30-6:30AM (usually 6:00AM)
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Early morning and Saturday AM (7-noon) availability
  • Must be able to carry & lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in a safe manner
