Established Minnesota Sod Farm – Full-Time, Year-Round Leadership Role
We are a well-established Minnesota sod farm seeking a dependable, hands-on Assistant Farm Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership-support role for someone who combines strong CDL driving skills, farm equipment experience, and mechanical ability.

This position is ideal for someone who wants more responsibility and is ready to help oversee daily farm operations.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver sod using a flatbed semi (Peterbilt – manual transmission)
• Support and help coordinate daily field operations
• Operate farm equipment including tilling, mowing, harvesting, planting, and fertilizing
• Assist with scheduling, workflow efficiency, and quality control
• Perform equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
• Oversee winter maintenance, shop organization, and equipment readiness
• Step into leadership responsibilities when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Valid CDL A (Manual Required)
• Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
• Strong farm equipment operation experience 5+ years
• Mechanically inclined with solid troubleshooting ability
• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative
• Leadership mindset with the ability to support and guide others
